Smurfs: The Lost Village

Smurfs: The Lost Village is an American upcoming 2017 animation 3D movie directed by Kelly Asbury. It is based on The Smurfs comic book series authored by the comic artist Peyo from Belgium.

The film stars Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf,  Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Rainn Wilson as Gargamel, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf and Julia Roberts as Smurfwillow.

The film is all set and scheduled to release on April 7, 2017, worldwide.

 

When Smurfette tries to discover her purpose in her town, she witnesses an animal in the Forbidden Forest who drops a secretive guide; she sets off with her friends Brainy, Hefty and Clumsy to locate the Lost Village before the wizard Gargamel.

Sony Pictures Animation has recently announced that Oscar Award winner Julia Roberts from famous movies Eat Pray Love and Valentine’s Day has joined the voice cast of Smurfs: one more change we can see this time is The Lost Village has another female Smurf character named as SmurfWillow seen in the recent poster released by Sony Pictures.

 

And the new character Smurfwillow is voiced by Julia Roberts in the Smurfs film, which depicts a notable change compared to the last two Smurfs movies.

SmurfWillow is a character who leads The Lost Village, where Smurfette takes on an adventure. There’s something else about this town, Gargamel or Rainn Wilson as a wizard.

 

Precisely two months prior today, Sony Pictures officially released the first trailer for their most expected animated movie of 2017, Smurfs: The Lost Village, which takes the establishment back to its foundations. The previous Smurf movie series from 2011 and 2013 were both real life/CGI mixtures, but this time the studio chose to go with full animation and set to release on April 7, 2017.

 

When it comes to the voice cast of the movie, it includes Demi Lovato a role as Smurfette, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, Rainn Wilson as Gargamel, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf and Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf.

Apart from these voice cast, no other supporting voice cast actors are known yet and that ought to change as we get nearer to April 7, 2017, release date.

Smurfs: The Lost Village is set to give competition to other animated movies from Lionsgate’s Wonder and Warner Bros. ‘Going in Style,’ and High Top Releasing’s Sleight.

 

Smurfs: The Lost Village was initially expected to hit theaters on August 5, 2016, where it would have gone up against the superhero experience Suicide Squad. Director of the movie Kelly Asbury later announced in March 2015 that the release date is postponed to April 7, 2017, for various reasons, because later it was speculated that the story wasn’t prepared to back then. This early April release also affects the Fast and the Furious series as Fast and Furious 8, hitting theaters seven days after, on April 14, 2017.

 

Kelly Asbury as an animated director of the famous movies  Shrek the Third and Gnomeo and Juliet is directing the movie Smurfs: The Lost Village from a script written by Pamela Ribon and  Stacey Harman, given characters made by Peyo who is a comic writer from sarkari naukri jobs. Soon the movie production team is said to release the second trailer and the new posters for Smurfs: The Lost Village.

 

On May 10, 2012, only two weeks after they declared the creation of the movie The Smurfs 2, both Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures were at that point creating the script for The Smurfs 3 with Chris Poche and Karey Kirkpatrick.

 

In March 2014, it was announced that the Kelly Asbury was approached to the third sequel of the film. Exploring characters of the Smurfs, the comic drama movie will include outlines and situations all the more firmly taking after the work of art made by Peyo’s comic book.

 

In October 2016, it had been confirmed that Christopher Lennertz would compose the music for the film Smurf’s: The lost village

 

In December 2016, it had been announced for that renowned vocalist Meghan Trainor had recorded a melody for the movie titled “I’m a Lady,” which will show up in the movie.

 

The film was previously scheduled for August 14, 2015, release, but due to the financial disputes on May 1, 2014, it was pushed back to August 5, 2016. But now the movie is all set to hit theaters in the month of April 2017
